My bf is a massive football fan…

It’s his birthday the 4th July I had booked a hotel & a mean on the 3rd and then a meal on the 4th aswell. I’ve also saved a lot of money for the weekend (aswell as buying presents) Bought some balloons for the 4th for him to wake up to.

We was both really excited and looking forward to it I had put a lot of effort into making it a nice weekend for him.

If England win tomorrow they will play on the 3rd 8pm so obv that threw our plans but I was willing to go else where and watch football. He was acting like ah ok basically acting like it wasn’t what he wanted to do. He wants to go out with his friends and I asked him that and he said no.

He then said today shall we do it either Friday or Sunday So that he could go out with his friends instead (this has really upset me) so I said no because obviously work on Friday and work on Monday he said to call in sick I said no.

Main reasons I said no is because it’s upset me that even tho I’ve gone to all this effort and spent so much money he is still so open about the fact he would just rather be somewhere else with his friends. Not even including me in his plans. Last year was the first day the pubs opened… he chose to go out with his friends then aswell.

More then anything I’m really hurt and angry that I put all this effort in for him to so easily push it aside.
