Dog acting weird

Okay so… my dog has been acting different toward me lately. Usually she’ll listen if I tell her no about getting on the couch, chair, or bed with me. The past week, she’s been up my ass and constantly laying up against me or across my belly. And won’t listen when I say no (obviously 🤣) At one point I’m laying here, my daughter starts jumping on the bed and she did this. 🤣 anyone else’s pet act funny around their period?? She’s never done this before. I started Wednesday, but it’s been weird. Spotty Wednesday, a bit heavier (still light but heavy enough for a pad) yesterday, and spotty today. No consistent flow. My OBGYN thinks it could be the birth control affecting it. Which is possible.
