Blocked Tear Duct Vs Infection - help!

My little one always has watery eyes but the last few days have been more watery and some cream-coloured discharge and eye crusties. He’s not fevered, no swelling in the corner of his eye and his eye doesn’t seem to be red. Does that sound like just a blocked tear duct? I don’t want to ignore it if it’s an infection so curious if anyone else has had this experience. Thanks mamas!

Thank you, ladies! Really appreciate the advice. It seems to come and go so I’m thinking it’s not an infection but will try some of these things and keep an eye on it.

We had similar issue, when my son was only 2 weeks old. It wasn’t read but was a lot of discharge. I took him to doctor but fortunately it wasn’t infection. I made camomile tea and cleared his eye with cotton tampon and after put some breastmilk.

I had something similar with my first. I was told to run around the corner of his eye to try stimulate the duct and also to put breastmilk in his eye
