Leaking amniotic fluid?

What happens when one leaks a fluid? How do you if you are? Please help

Call your doctor they can do a swab test in you vagina to see if its actually amniotic fluid. Its super easy and takes a few seconds. I got it done twice.

I never had this happen, but honestly I always recommend calling dr and seeing what they think. My friend started leaking fluids at 26 weeks…. She was in the hospital for 4 weeks or 5. And then it happened again. She had baby at 36 weeks.. 
I’ve never even been in labor, so I’m not sure what to look out for for that, but she had some contractions too so that had to be stopped
