10 weeks bad cramping and bleeding

Hey I’m a nervous reck here, this is my 2nd pregnancy and for the last 2 weeks I’ve had some awful lower back cramps and stomach pains. I’ve been spotting light pink but then this happens. My midwife appointment isn’t until this Friday. I have seen the baby’s heart beat and they said they were not concerned but why am I still in agony and bleeding? Has anyone else had similar and not had a bad ending?
