I am SO confused. Much darker test after miscarriage?
So a little over a week ago I started spotting and I noticed my pregnancy tests were getting lighter so I called my doctor who told me to go to the ER. I have a history of early miscarriages so I figured that was what was happening. At the ER they checked my hcg which was only 154 at around 7 weeks which is way too low. The next day I started cramping very heavily and bleeding. The bleeding had large chunks of tissue that looked like skin with veins in it. I bled for a week and assumed that was that. I have stopped bleeding so I decided to take an OPK to get the ball rolling on trying again and for the past two days I’ve had a stark positive OPK. I heard it could be hcg so I got a pregnancy test and it was even darker than the last pregnancy test I took before my miscarriage. Has this happened to anyone? Before anyone tells me to go to the doctor, I am going to, I’m just looking to hear personal experiences or opinions. Could this mean ectopic pregnancy? Could I still be pregnant?
The top photo is from a few days before I miscarried, when I noticed the tests getting lighter, The second photo is from today.
Update:
I had an ultrasound done, they didn’t see anything. Had my hcg tested (13 days since last time) and they were about 100 higher. Have to go back in 48 hours to see if they drop. Doctor says it’s possibly ectopic. I’ll update again when I find out.
Update 2:
It was not a successful pregnancy. I had a manual aspiration done but I suspect it was an ectopic due to the type of pain I was having. My levels eventually started dropping and I just got down to zero august 3rd.
