Obesity and VBAC

So this is my 2nd pregnancy with my first being a C-Section and I really am hoping to be able to be a candidate for VBAC. My first appointment with my OBGYN had be disappointed, he automatically told me he was going to schedule me for a repeat C-Section when the time comes, with no discussion of alternatives. With me not being so good with talking I was just like "Okay.." and we went on with the appointment. With talking with my family about it and remembering what the nurses and my previous doctor told me, I should be able to try for a VBAC birth. So I am hoping this Wednesday I can talk to the doctor about trying for a VBAC birth instead of a scheduled C-Section. Though I am worried that the doctor won't even give me a chance due to my weight. We will ultimately see on Wednesday. So I guess the point of this post is to reach out and see if anyone has had a successful VBAC while obese? If so, please comment your experience!

I am only 10 weeks and 4 days so I have not yet been tested for gestational diabetes. I have been tested for pre-eclampsia and the result was negative.

Please no negativity, there's no need to lecture me about my weight.
