IUD- No Insurance

Hey ladies!! I’ve been wanting an IUD for awhile now (missed pills) but I don’t have insurance. Anyone get an IUD without insurance?? I’m just trying to get a very rough estimate of cost! Thanks 🤍🤍

I went to a free clinic and applied for a program they had for  women w no insurance. It covered the cost of “family planning” like abortions if needed, contraception, STI screenings etc. so for me my iud was free. I would see if any free clinics in your area have something similar. I’m in LA and the clinic was called fpa women’s health

My IUD cost me about 1000$ because I didn't know that the doctor I was seeing wasn't covered by insurance. My husband, who works in healthcare billing, says that that price is pretty normal (obviously would've been cheaper if I went to a provider that was covered by my insurance, but it's too late now).
There are women's health clinics (like Planned Parenthood, but there are also non-branded ones) that can offer the service at an adjusted price, or will work with you on a payment plan. You're just going to have to do some "shopping" around.

Your state should have some type of public health clinic you can have lord of things done there. When I was in high school that’s where I went to get birth control and things like that without my parents and it was all free

I used planned parenthood, find an income based location or many do very low payment plans!
