Is this normal or cause for concern? So my baby will be two weeks tomorrow, and his cord stump fell off about 4-5 days ago. Today his belly button had some blood coming out of it- not enough to be gushing or anything, but it did get on his diaper and clothes... He's my fourth baby, but none of my other kids ever had this happen. I did carry him around for about 30 minutes today, facing toward me in an upright carrier- would the 30 minutes of him having something rub/press up against his belly have caused it? He has his two week appointment tomorrow, so it's going to be checked out, I just can't get him to the doctor today because I have to go pick up my other kids from school....
