Diapers?!

Question

Trying to figure out what brand and size diapers to put on our registry, any recommendations, ideas, ones that worked best for your baby? Due February 4th, 2022🥰 I listed a few on the registry if you wanna check it out! https://www.target.com/gift-registry/gift/myracoletonthatcher

I put every size up to 4 I got alot of newborn but returned some and got bigger sizes. My son was in newborn for a month and a week.

I’d put a variety of sizes, but definitely not too many of the newborn sizes because they grow out of those quick! My son has been in size 3 since around 8 months (maybe even earlier I can’t even remember it’s been so long), and I know size 3 is a popular size that babies stay in for a long time, so perhaps going with more of the size 3, and then go fewer and fewer with the smaller sizes.

Pampers swaddles are the best!! I’d put nb and size 1. Depends how big baby is. My first was in nb like a month my 2nd was big & never in nb

Always error on the safe/conservative side because the last thing you’ll want to do is make returns with a newborn.
I’ve always had luck buying one small pack of Newborn diapers and one big pack of size 1. That way you at least have some diapers available when you get home from the hospital, but not too many. My son was a little over 7lb and he was in newborn for only about a week, but my daughter was around 6lb and stayed in newborn for at least a month. My son could only use Pampers, but my daughter does better with Huggies special delivery diapers. Huggies tend to run a bit larger and they’re more absorbent than Pampers, but most Huggies diapers cause rashes so that’s why we use the special delivery version because they’re hypoallergenic. I personally wouldn’t buy any diapers larger than size 1 because you might decide that one brand works better for your baby and you don’t want to get stuck with a bunch of diapers you don’t like or need.

It just totally depends😆 We were in the smallest preemie size.  Then went up to the regular preemie.   Newborn til 3 months (at least).  Then size 1 for quite sometime.  But some babies don’t even wear newborn!  I’d put size one on your registry and then buy what you need for baby before s/he gets there:)

As other say depends. My little went from newborn to size 2 within 3 weeks of being born. I would say all sizes than you can return as they grow. I had about 14 big boxes of size one to return.
