eating meat or to not eat meat??

I’ve been vegetarian for almost 3 years now. When i first went vegetarian i lost about 10 pounds. But now i’m about 20 pounds heavier and i’m REALLY wanting to lose fat. I know i’m going to need about 120 grams of protein a day, and being vegetarian i’m having a hard time doing that. What have you found most helpful? Should i eat meat or while that’s cause me to gain water weight?
