Could I be miscarrying?

Question

My fiance and I had sex earlier and now I have some light bleeding. I'm 12 weeks today. Should I be worried? He wasn't rough or anything but I do have a strong cramping pain and I've had it for like an hour and just went to use the bathroom and noticed I was bleeding.

If you have cramps then you should worry. you may have a frail cervix that causes the bleeding after intercourse. Call your ob for an ultrasound to see if the baby is okay.

My ob said light bleeding is normal but the min. I started bleeding lightly I ran to the ER. For your sanity go get it checked out. Better safe than sorry.

I would definitely ask your doctor if I were in your shoes. But I had very light bleeding when I first got pregnant after sec and told my doctor about it. She told me to refrain from sex for 48 hours after that happens. Definitely let your doctor know and see what she recommends.

I have a soft cervix and if we have sex certain ways I'll spot. No cramps though.. So id be worried.

I had the same thing happen if it's light bleeding it's normal but if u start bleeding heavy like a period and cramping go in but if u r worried go in ill be praying good luck

The only one time I ever had pain after sex in my 8 pregnancies, I did miscarry shortly after. Does it mean that sex caused it? Not necessarily. Does it mean that's what's happening to you? Not necessarily. BUT- what is normal for one person can be a sign of crisis for another....go with your instincts and if you feel like going in to be seen then go in.

Bleeding is normal. It happened with me and when I went to the doctor they tested me to see if amniotic fluid was leaking. The strip came back positive and basically they told me my baby wouldn't make it and that there was nothing they could do. They left me in there crying for 12 hours just to come back and tell me that seman will cause a test to test positive for amniotic fluid. Anyways, all that awful drama over some blood after having sex. Long story short, it's normal. :)
