So first of all, yes we wanted a dog or cat but unfortunately we can’t get either right now. Puppies are EXTREMELY expensive where I live and we can’t have a cat because someone is allergic to them who lives with us.

So what pet would you suggest a 2 year old could bond well with? I’ve read online that hamsters and gerbils are a no go. I also don’t enjoy fish at all and I know she wouldn’t even be interested in them anyways. I used to own guinea pigs and loved it but I know they need very big enclosures and I’m not sure we have the space for that? Idk but please comment your opinions.

(She loves cats because she was born into a home with 2 cats but we left that home and live somewhere new without cats unfortunately)
