Listening to my body
Over the years I never listened to my body. Mostly because I was scared half the time or didn’t really know what it was telling me. I always wanted to know but never really felt like I could listen and make the proper decision.
Recently I’ve realized that my body has been extremely angry and tired and I’ve finally listened to it and taken the time to really take care of myself.
I’ve gone back to the gym, cut out crappy processed foods as much as possible and taken naps or gone to bed early if needed because that’s what my body has said.
I also have learned to say no when I’m tired and feel overwhelmed. Sometimes I still tend to not say no, but that’s just me being a workaholic.
Now that I’ve started listening to it I’ve seen such an improvement in mood and health.
It’s wild and I’m not sure why I’m just now starting to listen.
