Me and my husband are torn! Should we adopt yet?

Question

We were outside playing with hour 1year old daughter and talking to our neighbors. A man walked by with 2 foster dogs. And we fell in love with him. He was mild tempered toward our daughter and so sweet to me and my husband. I'm currently 6 months pregnant. Is it crazy to adopt this dog? We have a house, a fence, and child proof gates in our home. A yard for him to run around. It's it to soon?

I couldnt do dog and baby at the same time. How many times would i have to say “no!” a day. Am i talking to the dog or the 9m old? Does it matter?

I have 2 dogs and 2 kids under 2. It's absolutely doable. Just make sure to set time to cuddle the dog sometimes so it doesn't feel shoved aside and resentful to the kids. I always try to cuddle up on my guys once the kids are in bed or we go for walks all together. The dog needs to feel included too.

I think it’s better to get the dog while still pregnant rather than after the baby is here...that would be a lot harder but at this point you still have some time to establish somewhat of a routine and get the dog used to being around y’all..

Whoops I answered no as in no it’s not too soon. My pupper is an adopted dog and he is the best boy in the world!! My daughter and him are best friends

Not if you think you can handle it! We had a dog when we had 2 kids under 2 and it was fine! Our dog loved the babies and the babies were gentle with her. We had to teach the kids to be gentle of course. But our dog goes and checks on them in the night to make sure they are okay. It’s the sweetest

I personally wouldn't. A toddler, a newborn...and a new dog? Nope. Too crazy for me. I'd wait a couple years.
