Weird cervical mucus

Ok so recently I’ve been getting REALLY weird CM. It comes out brown and usually sticky. I’m nowhere near my period and there’s no way I’m pregnant 🏳️‍🌈. Should I see a gynecologist? Could it be a yeast infection? I’m not sure I can afford anything expensive rn like a doctor’s visit but I will if I absolutely have to. Just don’t want to waste my money just to find out it was something I could’ve dealt with myself y’know 😕. Thanks in advance guys 🙏
