Prenatal for hair loss?

So I saw this post on IG about taking prenatal for at least a year after giving birth so your hair doesn't fall out or shed after birth... has any of y'all tried this? If yes, did it work??? 
PD: I know not everybody losses hair during pregnancy or after birth.

You should continue taking it anyway but there’s no vitamin to stop the hair loss as it’s a hormone reaction.  Vitamins like biotin just help it fill back in faster

Hair shedding happens regardless because the hormones during pregnancy drastically cut down the rate at which your hair sheds. Postpartum you lose what you ordinarily would have lost during those 9 months, but all at once. Prenatals won't help prevent that
