Twin birth stories????

Can I hear some twin birth stories??? Epidural or just natural? How long was hospital stay an how far along were u wen u delivered???

I don't have my own twin birth story, but my grandma gave birth to twins naturally. My dad was breech, so he was turned, so she could deliver him naturally as well. Biggest twins born at the hospital at the time, at 6 and 7 pounds. They were full term. She was even chasing after a 3 year old.

Thought a positive story from 51 years ago would be nice to hear :)

I've not had my twins yet but my grandma told me the story of when she had hers (my uncles)

Back in the day you didn't get dating scans so the doctors thought she was further along than she was so admitted her to hospital a month before the twins were born. Every time she felt a twinge they wheeled her to delivery.

She managed to deliver both breech twins naturally with only gas and air.

Her story fills me with optimism as it shows that we can do it ladies!

I had an epidural at 7cm incase I had to have a ceaser... Baby b was breech..but thankfully I was able to deliver both vaginally. My babies were 31 weekers.. They had a 6 week NICU stay but I was discharged the next day.

Went into labor at 30 weeks. They got it slowed down. Was on hospital bedrest for almost 3 weeks with contractions every 10 minutes the entire time. Went into active labor again at 33 weeks. They tried to stop it but couldn't this time. I labored naturally for 7 hours while they tried to stop it. Ended up having a csection at 4am. Got a spinal for the csection. Got out of bed at noon that day. Very easy recovery

I had my twins Tuesday via scheduked c section. I had a spinal block, went home on Friday morning, and am able to ebf!!

I had my B&G twins in August via emergency csec due to cord issues/heart rate dropping. I was placed on hospital bedrest for 2 weeks prior. Both are thriving and the love and joy of my life.

Following! I'm scheduled for a csection in the 29th. I've yet to hear of a doctor that is comfortable with an unmedicated twin birth.
