Anyone else think Manifest was a super dumb show

The show had so much potential. But I have watched 2 seasons, and literally no answers. They just keep adding random storylines. And adding stupid complexities that don't even make sense.. like that boat thing, peacock etc.

Not to mention that the characters are so annoying. The cop woman can't act, the wife of the guy always has the same frown, the doc lady always on the verge of a breakdown..

I have heard 3rd season doesn't provide any answers either. I'm starting to think the makers are just making things up as they go (and won't have to anymore since it's been cancelled.)

They seem to be trying hard to be next "Lost"!
