Placenta encapsulation, anyone had it?

Hey ladies, very curious about placenta encapsulation since I’ve had anxiety and depression throughout my life. I don’t know anyone personally who has done it but read about quite a few celebrity’s who have.
Any experiences please comment

After doing a ton of research and discussing with my midwife, I’m opting not to do it. It can make you sick if it’s not done properly, it’s not overseen by the FDA so there are basically no regulations on it, and any and all benefits are completely anecdotal and have not been supported by clinical research.
I personally need more than someone’s word that it’s beneficial before I go spend $200-500 on it. That money is better used on something I know I’ll need, like a car seat.

Got it and it helped lift my mood- actually gave me a little buzz. And I had an incredible milk supply

I have never done it and don’t plan to. However my cousin did it and loved it. She recommends it highly.

Helped me a ton with post partum depression, got it with my second but not my first and I felt a hundred times better.
