Need advice/support

I'm not sure if this goes in this category but I am a 1st time mommy my son is 6 months old going on 7,and I have always had a one bedroom apartment so my son's crib it's right next to the bed has been since day one..but now I'm getting a 2 bedroom apartment and so he will have his own room and I'm very nervous even tho the bedrooms are only divided by the bathroom.. but my boyfriend works nights so its just me and the baby.. is it crazy to be nervous about this I know it's better in the long run I just feel like I'm making a huge deal out of this for nothing.. has any one els been thro this if so how did deal with it?
