Question

I went in and got my ultra sound yesterday and she said she was “worried my placenta wasn’t working” because the baby seems a lot smaller then he should be? He’s only a pound. I have gained 5 during my pregnancy so far. Does it look like I’m showing enough? My grandma didn’t really show as she had 2 small baby boys and my mom had a small baby boy. My (estimated) due date is October 26th so I’m 26w and 1d so far.

Babys weight is somewhat OK also. The estimates can be so off x

They thought my son was going to be small but then had a major growth spurt towards the end. He ended being almost 9 lbs. Lol.

Honestly you’re showing just fine. I’m 27 weeks now and I seriously get the “oh girl I wouldn’t even know you were pregnant if I didn’t know you!” Kinds of comments at this moment. Which is fine, actually doesn’t bother me. But I seriously look 4 months pregnant sometimes. I think everything will be fine 💙

It’s not so much how you are showing but what the baby is measuring on the ultrasound as well as your fundal height. My baby measured small my whole last pregnancy. They were worried that I may have IUGR but I didn’t. My daughter came out perfectly healthy 6lbs 2oz but was considered small for gestational age. Talk to your Doctor. They might order a few extra ultrasounds to make sure baby is growing. Good luck! ♥️
