Anyone read books on a kindle? Thinking about getting one but not sure if it’s worth it to buy.

I have one but I have barely used it 🤦🏻‍♀️ I honestly shouldn’t have gotten it because I can just download books onto my iPhone

Love my kindle. It feels very similar to reading on paper, much less strain on the eyes than your standard tablet. Someone else mentioned a library app, this is definitely the way to go! I get almost all of my books as ebooks through the library which download right to my kindle. There’s occasional waitlists for popular titles, but I’ll just download another book to read while I wait.

I love physical copies of books…but I also love my Kindle more than I thought I would. It’s easier to carry around than a tablet and bigger than reading on the Kindle app on your phone. Also easier on your eyes. I have the basic Kindle and it holds thousands of books. The Kindle books are cheaper than a physical book and I also use the Libby app to check out e-books from my library. 10/10 recommend. I read so much more since getting my Kindle.

I just buy books since, once you buy the kindle, you gotta buy the ebook. Or, i could buy the book. But i love physical books— i do have a kindle i just always forget to charge it

I’ve had a kindle for ages and I love them. I have the paper white right now and they’re pretty cheap and easy to read on.

Worth it for what? It’s a cheap tablet that can store 100’s of books. You still have to buy the books, but they are generally much cheaper for the “digital” copy. 
If you are an avid reader, the 7.99/month Kindle unlimited subscription is amazing too. 
I love my kindle because I don’t want a hard copy of every book I read.
