My daughter is 6 weeks old and I have been exclusively breastfeeding. For the last two weeks, I can’t get her to nurse longer than 5-7 minutes total at a time. Sometimes she seems full after but lately she’ll start sucking on her hands a few minutes after nursing. Every time I try to have her relatch and continue nursing she screams and cries and wants nothing to do with it. She has plenty of dirty diapers throughout the day so I think she’s getting enough, but it’s hard when she’s constantly showing “hunger cues” but doesn’t actually want to eat. My breasts have also started to feel soft and empty all the time. It could be my supply leveling out, but it still has me worried. Anyone else experience this and is it normal?
