Ultrasound tech made an odd comment

Had my anatomy scan yesterday and told the tech right away I don’t want to find out baby’s sex until birth. I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t hoping a potty shot would slip on the screen but he was good to turn the screen away when he was in the downstairs area. He also asked me if “they told me how many were in there” and I replied “one?” And he just said “I think it’s just important they tell you how many are in there.” I’ve never had a tech ask me this at either my 2 previous anatomy scans and I’m hoping he was just messing with me and there wasn’t a second baby he couldn’t tell me about since he was a tech and not a doctor.
