So I went to L & D due to contractions coming 3-6 minutes apart. The RN did an internal exam where they used a swab to see if I would deliver in the next 2 weeks and when she did the exam she didn’t use any gel because she said she couldn’t, then I had a cervical check, and a transvaginal ultrasound. Didn’t have any spotting or anything last night. But this morning when I got up I was super sore, and now I keep having some cramps and now I’ve noticed some brown spotting. Is this normal after all that? Or should I go be seen? My cervix was closed but thin and the length is 2.5 cm
