Dry skin…eczema?

My son is 4 months old and has dry red patches throughout his body. It started on just his arms but it’s going on his back now too. Since I’ve noticed it getting worse, I’ve put baby eczema cream on him. What can I do to help his poor skin??? It looks so uncomfortable.

If you’re nursing, try a breast milk bath or try making breast milk lotion. These things worked well for my son’s eczema.

eucerin lotion is really good. It’s very thick. It’d keep reapplying it. If it’s eczema it needs extra moisture. I have eczema, my child doesn’t. But mine has never came up in patches like that

Ugh yes my son is 9 months but his skin started looking like that at 3 months. Doctor can’t prescribe anything so young so he said to get hydrocortisone 1%. I put that on plus baby eczema lotion over it 2xs a day. It does help him and doesn’t make his skin so red.
