I got into a debate with a friend. He used the word Gypped. I let him know politely that the word was actually an offensive term. He became angry and said the ol’ “everyone is so offended these days by everything. Idc. I’m not going to censor everything I say because someone is always going to be offended.” I tried to explain that if he knows a word is offensive, why would he continue to use it. He said the world is an as*hole, and I’m just part of it.

Are there certain words you use that are deemed offensive, but you use them anyway?

I guess some examples could be B*tch, C*nt (in Australia), or as*hole
