This might sound stupid

I know this might sound crazy but i don’t live near beaches and rarely go to them so i’m unsure. Can sharks smell period blood? I’m going scuba diving in a few weeks at the beach deep in the ocean and i will be on my period. I’m very scared because recently at this beach there were 14 shark sightings and im afraid to go scuba diving while on my period.
