Are you able to request to be induced? I have had a very high risk pregnancy and have been on bedrest for over half of it. I have an incompetent cervix and had to have a cerclage (cervix stitched shut) in order to keep my baby girl inside until I’m 37 weeks. I’m starting to worry though because I live almost an hour away from the hospital and will most likely go into labor the same day as I am already 3cm dilated since my stitches we’re starting to come undone a couple weeks ago. I plan on speaking with my doctor about my options as it gets closer to delivery time but I was just wondering if you could even ask to be induced because I don’t want to get almost home and most likely go into labor and have to turn back around to go to the hospital out of town once I get my stitches taken out 🤔
