Yellow turtle?

Anyone know what kind of turtle this is?  My husband found this turtle just wandering down the streets of Las Vegas.

This looks like it could be a yellow or red footed tortoise. People keep them as pets.

Would definitely call your local wildlife  see if they're native. They usually can give you a hundred percent on what breed it is. They can also figure out if it is native from there or not. If it is not native from there an someone brought it an then let it go they're going to end up wanting to see where you live so they can look around and find out who owned a turtle and let It Go. So definitely call your local wildlife and have them look at it. if It Is from there they need to probably do a 30-day quarantine before they let it go.
