So we recently moved into a shitty apartment because we had no other options, we had nowhere to live and my family isn't nearby, and my fiances family was not able to help us.

There are no windows because it's a bottom floor of a brick apartment building. Well. It's been 90 degrees every day and I am a bit over 12w pregnant and feel like I'm dying. I started running a low grade fever from being too hot yesterday and had to go get in a shower. I'm miserable all day. Every day. We can't run an AC because, no windows. I was going to get a portable AC when my fiance gets paid tonight, but just found out they need to be vented out a window. 🤦‍♀️😭 I could cry (jk,already have cried about it). I can't do another month of this hot nightmare. I don't sleep and i can barely eat cause I'm so hot.. Fans barely help because there's really no way to circulate the place because the only source of fresh air is a screen door in the kitchen, nowhere near the bedroom/living room. Is a "swamp cooler" even worth it? Should I try to vent a portable AC through the drop ceiling? We will be moving a few months after baby comes in Feb. Thankfully we do have heating for winter because that's required by law, but I don't know how to deal right now. Any advice welcome! Thanks!!
