5 days before injectables…??

I’ll be off my bc for 5 days before my injectables and they want to do an ultrasound during that time. 
Won’t I be bleeding (with my period or similar) during the time of my transvaginal ultrasound? 🤢

It’s nothing they haven’t seen before! Don’t worry if you’re bleeding, they’ll just ask you to remove tampon/cup if you use those.

Yes, most likely. I usually go in on cycle day 2 or 3 and its messy, but its not that bad. For me they put down a little absorbent pad down on the exam table and there are pads,tampons and wipes there that you can use after.

Yes. Baselines are typically done while you're bleeding. It's expected.

For me je did ultrasound from the outside, on the belly. I was day  4 od the cycle he wanted to be sure that it is a menstrual cycle going well, for me that was an emotional experience becouse we are struggling 2.5years for a beby and that felt like a preview of one day beby ultrasound :)

Probably, but don’t worry about it. They are used to doing ultrasounds during your period, fertility clinics do CD 2 and 3 ultrasounds all the time.
