No Fall/Winter Clothes????

Who all is having trouble finding fall clothing for their children? I feel like stores normally have fall clothing out by now, but my stores in the area I live are BARREN... I can’t find my children any fall/winter clothes for them to grow into and shoes are limited as well. Planning to look at yard/garage sales. 🤷‍♀️ Any thoughts, tips, tricks??

It’s the middle of summer 😭 it won’t be cool til probably oct around these parts and I have no idea what size he’ll be then so I’m not gonna buy until the weather starts changing noticibly

There are still shortages and delays for products coming from suppliers. May not see fall/winter clothes until closer to the season. If you're needing things now or very soon, then I think you have a great plan to take a look at yard sales.

You can post an SOS of what gender/size you need on Facebook buy sell trade groups.  I just got a trash bag full of fall boy clothes in 3t for $20 by doing that!

Mid to late August is usually the transition for my state. Also put out a message on Facebook or check other social media sites. The local consignment sales in our area don’t start until Sept/Oct for fall/winter clothes.

I’ve been keeping an eye out online since I’m due in December, just yesterday and today I’ve noticed Target and Old Navy starting to release fall items and have also seen Burts Bees Baby has released fall things, so I think it’s starting and more and more will trickle out soon! I’m not sure how long it takes for items to hit the stores after they appear online, probably a little lag as they clear out summer inventory.

Target, Walmart, Amazon, carter's and all other major retailers have availability online. Even places like Costco and Sam's club are ushering in the fall/winter stuff.

Here wool clothes just started coming in stores this week. And these been the coldest summer since the 1920is. So just wait a few weeks.

I noticed my local Target was starting to put up fall stuff this weekend. I don’t usually shop for the fall/winter until Labor Day so idk when they usually put stuff out.
