If your ex was in the hospital would you check on him?

I only know about it because I'm close friends with his other ex girlfriend (weird story) and she went to the hospital to see him. I know he's fine but I want to talk to his mom. I know what he's been doing this past year because of his ex girlfriend and if he doesn't get help with his drug addiction he's going to kill himself like he almost did last night. She knows about his drug use but she doesn't know about how he's been selling everything from acid to cocaine. He's 18 and she can't do much but he lives in her house. Should I tell her? Maybe she can help him? She is his mother and I don't want him to die. He's basically flunked out of college because of drugs. He's got a LOT of money Because of drugs and sees no reason to continue college. I don't have anything to do with him but I dated him for 3 years and I still care that he's doing well. Should I just leave it alone???
