C-Section or Vaginal?

This question is only for those of you who have had a c-section and either a natural or drug assisted vaginal delivery. But which did you prefer and why?? I'm being confronted with the decision of a scheduled c-section and I'm curious as to how many actually preferred this method. Thanks!

I believe c-sections should be only medically necessary.  It's a major surgery! And for some it's a hard recovery. I've done all of mine vag with drugs. Recovered really quickly. My 2nd I was walking around the same day after delivery like nothing. This time I will do no drugs and all natural.

Vaginal birth is obviously best if you can go that route but I had a Csection with my first and will have another Csection with this baby and with my last Csection I was walking around the same day and showering the next morning. There is more after pain with a Csection but it isn't anything terrible. I was also medically cleared to do what I want 7 days later.

Vaginal birth recovery is faster than a C section... My experience with a Vaginal without drugs was amazing baby was born within 4 hrs of water breaking .. Vaginal with drugs slowed me down a little took about 9 hrs.... C Section recovery takes longer but you don't have to do all that pushing n waiting.... Do you have an option ?? My Dr would not push for C Section unless necessary ....
