Flying during Covid?

Hi ladies, just curious what others are thinking about flying while pregnant with this delta variant. I’m scheduled to fly in 2 weeks, but so nervous! I’ll be 14 weeks at that point. I’m vaccinated and will of course wear a mask and take precautions, but what would you all do? Go? Cancel? I am going to talk to my doc, but just curious what others who might be in the same boat are thinking.

I’d weigh in the reason why I’m flying. Would I face serious consequences by not flying? A mild inconvenience? Although your risk is low because you’re vaccinated you’re still part of the at-risk population for being pregnant so it’s not that easy to decide. Just to be sure, I’d ask my OBGYN what they recommend and do what they say.

I think if you’re vaccinated and wearing a mask, it’s fine. But definitely ask your doctor if you’re worried. You could also wear a face shield

I’ll be 17 weeks when I fly back to California since we are EAS from military. I was vaccinated prior to pregnancy. I’ll be taking lots of precautions like mask, sanitizing, washing hands and I bring my own snacks. I’m nervous bc our duty station Hawaii has low rates of COVID compared to mainland. I will hope for the best. Im also going for a flight that’s only 5 hours and try to minimize my chances of exposure.

My doctor had zero issues with me flying and I just got back(I’m 11 weeks tomorrow). Avoid crowded areas when you can help it and you can always double mask if that helps you feel safer.
