Would you take zofran for nausea?

Zofran is prescribed to for treating nausea. Would you take it if you needed it?

The study was done on a small Danish population that had adverse effects from it. Unless you are a decedent of this small community, you have nothing to worry about. I was on a zofran continuous pump for 27 weeks and my daughter is now 3 and just fine. I'm on zofran again this pregnancy. I'm not concerned a bit about it. It's lawyers fishing for the few hundred people that are from this Danish community.

I've heard that the study that was done was flawed. That there were too many variables. I think that must be true because zofran has not been changed from category b. I'm not taking this time because something category A is working but I took it with my first pregnancy when I lost 10 lbs in the first trimester. If you are not able to keep anything down, the benifits outweigh the risk.

You just have to see if the risks out weigh the benefits I have HG and took it with my first two and have to take it with this one, it's the only thing that allows me to keep anything down and not throwing up 20+ times a day. If it wasn't for zofran I would spend my entire pregnancy in the hospital or struggle to keep the baby surviving from lack of fluids.

I took it for a week and it didn't work for me. Taking diclegis now but OB says I have HG so that doesn't really help either

The nurse called it in for me but when I had my first dr appointment she was mad they had called it in and told me not to take it .. She said stay away from zofran in your first trimester

I'm on diclectin! For the same thing but actually made for morning sickness specifically. Zofran was not developed for pregnancy.

My friend took it while she was pregnant and her son was born with non functional kidneys. He has to take dialysis and is awaiting a kidney transplant when he gets big enough.

This girl on youtube was talking about it and her baby was born with a left arch because of that medication. I know the internet is a bad place to look for information but i wont take it they prescribed me vitamin b and its helping
