I don’t want the doctor pulling my baby out
What I mean is that I’ve been to a few births in person and have watched many videos and every time as soon as the baby’s head is out the doctor kinda just rips the rest of it out quickly. And I’ve noticed this is mainly when the woman tears. This has always bothered me. I feel like even though the head is out I should still be given some time to keep pushing and easing my baby out.. I don’t want her just pulled out of me so quickly. Is this something they’ll respect if I tell them this? Is this something you think they’ve heard of being requested often? Is it something that any of you have thought about? The only time I’ve seen it done differently is when women have water births or home births and the midwives really let them take their time and ease baby out and don’t interfere. The head comes out and then the mommy keeps pushing and baby turns on it’s own and comes out in another few pushes. But every hospital birth I’ve seen the doctor has just grabbed baby’s head and pulled right out once the head is out...
