Has anyone been told the wrong gender?

I had a 16 week private scan which I was told it's a boy. The hospital unit think a girl from the scan so I have to wait 4 weeks for my official 20 week nhs scan. Wondering if anyone else has been told this? I would love a boy but just holding back on telling people incase it's wrong.

This is why majority of hospitals are waiting till twenty week scan because at 16 weeks they were getting so many wrong genders haha. As my doctor would say well its a fifty percent chance itll be a boy lol

Had a private scan at 15 weeks and said boy, hospital at 20 weeks said girl, went for another gender scan and they said boy, he is in fact a boy

I know someone who has Nhs 20 week scan then 2 private scans all said girl… baby was born a boy it can happen it’s why they don’t tell you they are 100% certain at your 20 week scan

My best friend was told multiple times she was having a boy and ended up having a girl but she is the only one I know. They told me I was having a boy and I had a boy.

Personally no but I used to work with someone who was told boy at the early scan and ended up being a girl at 20 week.
