Hey everyone,

I'm 8 weeks pregnant and around 7 weeks 6 days I experienced some light pink spotting. It stopped as quickly as it started and didn't last long. I haven't had sex for weeks. I had an ultrasound the day before the spotting (just abdominal) and the heart beat and baby looked great and doc said I had a healthy pregnancy. I went back to the doctor today (finally 🙄 my health care system is slow) and they want me to do more bloodwork and another ultrasound to be on the safe side. Has anyone had something similar happen and everything was ok? The doctor today couldn't find the heartbeat on the fetal Doppler. This never happened with my first pregnancy so I am freaking out. I can't go for bloodwork and an ultrasound until Tuesday because it's a long weekend so any input to ease my mind is helpful. Trying not to stress. Thank you!
