Chemical Pregnancy??

Need some help!! Took a digital pregnancy test on the 27th of this month and it came back positive, got a blood test on 7/30 and came back positive, took another digital today and said not pregnant? What does this mean? Has anyone had anything like this? Had a miscarriage in June,  so wondering if it’s another chemical pregnancy.

Your HCG climbs, peaks and drops and after a certain period you can experience negative tests. I found out at 20 weeks with my son after all negative tests and saw him on an ultrasound. Get repeat bloods done

Digital tests aren’t as sensitive. Try again in a few days, I think your HCG has to be around 50 (last I checked)

Could be a chemical. Do you have repeat bloodwork scheduled to make sure levels are doubling like they should?

Sounds like a chemical pregnancy.. I have had 2 chemical pregnancies this year it can be quite frustrating I recently scheduled an apt with my obgyn to discuss it further. My first I received faint pregnancy test lines that never became bold and that disappeared at 4 weeks past my period. This second one i had immediate bold lines that continued into 4 weeks past my last period, i felt implantation cramping at 3 weeks past my period and almost 3 weeks later it ended in early miscarriage. At this time my tests showed no detectable signs of hcg. The ER explained to me that if the embryo does not fully attach it does not continue to grow and the body will reject it typically within the first 5 weeks of implantation.

Depends on how early you are and what your levels were. If your urine was diluted and you are still early, it’s likely a false negative. I would retest on a hold. Unless your #s were higher then it could be a chemical.
