Hair loss: when does it stop?

So I have exclusively breastfed my son from birth and the postpartum hair loss didn’t start until he was about 3 months old. My son is now 5, almost 6 months old and I’m still loosing huge clumps of hair like I can’t believe I don’t have massive bald spots. Is anyone else still loosing large amounts of hair? What can i do to stop it from falling out?  I’d prefer not to be balding in my early 20s 😅

Mine slowed down around 5 months pp, and I got a big haircut around 4 months pp to at least give myself the illusion of smaller chunks of hair dropping. I’m at 6 months pp now and it’s much better.

I chopped my hair as well and it helped (or made it less noticeable). I’ve heard it can last for the duration of breastfeeding. Some up to a year. If you start losing so much you’re worried I’ve heard to get your thyroid checked.

Mine was pretty bad up until around 5m pp. I got a hair cut and started using a shampoo/conditioner with protein which seems to have helped.

I’m still losing so much hair. My curly hair has thinned out and is so frizzy now. I read that pp hair loss should slow down around 6 months, but it seems like it’s getting worse

I am definitely still losing song but it definitely also got better after I got a haircut

I'm 6 months PP next week and losing more than normal, but much less than I was. I hacked my hair off to the top of my shoulders to help it bounce back at the advice of my hair stylist. It's helped a lot, but I'm still losing more than I did before pregnancy.
No idea when it actually stops.

Yup my poor hoover cannot cope with the amount of hair I'm shedding lol.
I miss pregnancy hair. Have no idea when it stops though. Xx
