High risk moms/ blood transfusion

My hemoglobin is still very low and my dr said since I will need a scheduled csection I might need to have a blood transfusion. I already take a high does of iron and prenatal but I’m also on blood thinners 🤦🏼‍♀️ I didint think of it today at the dr appointment….but will ask at my next appointment about having someone I know donate blood for me ? Is that even a thing ? How would that work . My husband doesint know what blood type he is but made an appointment to see his type . My sisters live out of state … n idk mabey I can ask my cousins . I just feel weird about having someone elnse blood and rather have somebody I know donate for me . Any info I’d appreciate thanks guys
