Wondering if lumps can be a side effect of the pill?

Little bit worried going to see a doctor

I have a lump in my breast that I can only feel when I'm on my period or birth control pills. Doctor said cancer doesn't get bigger and smaller with hormones. Said it was a cyst. But definitely get it checked. Always better to be safe.
