Babylist registry - love it or hate it?

Curious! I feel like it’s more confusing than Amazon but love the idea of being able to add stuff from all over. Did you have issues
With items being “reserved” but not purchased?

Used it my last pregnancy and using it again! I love all the options! People can order from wherever is cheapest and reserving was nice for those who bought an item not on the registry and I didn’t want duplicates.

I used it twice but only for the sample box. It was not my main registry. I think you get a better completion discount directly through target and amazon

My family hated it and wouldn’t use it.  Said the checkout process was really confusing.  I just stuck with amazon and target after that

I really like it. It shoes pricing from various places, which is very nice for gifters. I also made an Amazon registry and just linked it in my babylist as well. I hear Amazon allows for imports from others places too, but I was never able able figure out how to add them there.
Babylist was also cool because you can add things that aren't store bought, such as a diaper fund, gift cards from anywhere, and other types of gifts like help and favors for those that may want to contribute but don't have the financial means.

I would not use it again. Some guests found it confusing that Babylist takes you to the store and then you have to go back to Babylist to actually mark the gift purchased. Also, some guests didn’t realize it offered a multiple store option so if they went to Target and the gift was sold out they marked it as unavailable on Babylist even though Amazon or Buy Buy Baby had it in stock. My preference would just be to use the actual store’s registry. 🤷‍♀️
