Let me start off by saying that this is my third child and I had never heard of this until now. I read that some women get a purplish red line up their butt crack when they begin dilating butttt that the length has been proven to not directly correlate with your dilation, just that it can appear once you’ve hit 0-2 cm. I’ve been in early labor for 3 days with contractions on and off and horrible rectal and back pain so I thought I would just look, and I sure do have a purple line now that wasn’t there three days ago. Anybody ever heard of this before? I asked my mother in law and she was googling it cause she hadn’t heard of it either with 4 kids 😂😂😂
