When does labor officially start?

Question

FTM being induced tomorrow. I was filling out some pages in the baby book, and I started thinking. When would you moms say labor officially begins?

For my first baby I was induced at 7 am at 2-3 cm and I didn't give birth till 9:55 pm that night.  It took about 10 hours to get to 7cm when they gave me an epidural.  From then on it seemed to go quick.  Good luck!!

I'm 4 centimeters  dilated  so has my lsbor started

The hospital considers it from the time you're 4cm and on, or when your water breaks and on. I counted mins from beginning to end of induction with my first bc I was already contracting when I got there.
