This is the first twitter posts after San Bernardino.... wouldn't you first acknowledge the victims before you start on a anti gun agenda? I'm no fan of Trump but I would rather express my sympathies before charging in on gun control.

the goal is to prevent more victims. So I'm sorry for your loss but you're not the concern, controlling gun ownership and use is the concern. What are you gonna do? pray, say kind words and move on, Might as well just start with gun control

In my opinion, talking about prevention IS honoring the victims and "waiting out of respect" just delays the conversation until there's another shooting and another time we can't talk about it. We can't wait forever, people are dying.

Of course the right side isn't going to blame guns. They're supported by the NRA and other weapons lobbies, and their constituency loves religion and offerings of prayers that probably won't actually happen. It's not "respect" the right side of your collage is showing -- it's superficial politics.

I would show sympathy to all the victims and their families first. You don't say let's band alcohol first,  if someone tells you that a person died from a drunk driver. It's a kind of cold hearted in my opinion.

The best way to acknowledge victims of gun violence is to attempt to reduce the number of victims we have.

Should I die in shooting, I would want my death to MEAN something. I don't need useless offers of prayers that probably won't be said anyway. I don't need anyone to feel sorry for me or my family because that DOES NOT HELP.

What DOES help, you ask? An actual plan to reduce gun violence. Prayers and condolences do not reduce gun violence.

As someone who is not religious. I'm voting for Clinton! I don't want your empty words, I want action. I want to know your fighting to put policies in place so this happens less. Let their families and friends pray for them if they want to. It's a terrible tragedy, but your #prayer isn't going to stop the next mass shooting.
