So about a year ago my lil sis and I were in custody of my aunt. my cousin was molesting my lil sis and when my sister's and I found out, they called cps. So long story short my mom got custody of us back (cps case is closed now) and my sis and I are good. So my aunt used to take care of us with my dad's survivor's benefits and pretty much she kept them even after she kicked us out. When she kicked us out she kept ALL our things. Our clothes, our beds, everything. Some of it wasn't even from the check, it was from my job when I would work. She kept the check for months. My mom and I already reported her for fraud but that is a long process. We actually have court next month about my cousin molesting my sis... I tried to file a police report once but they said they couldn't do anything since we were under her care and technically she bought the stuff even tho its literally my dad's earned money he worked for before he passed away... So I'm 18 now and it's hard for me to get a job because I barely have any proof of identity. My aunt kept all our documents (birth certificate and social security etc. ) I actually got a job when I was a minor with my school ID but I can't even get a regular ID because getting a social security card is such a long process (we got our birth certificate after months, we are still trying to get the ss cards)... Is there anything I can do about her having our legal documents? I have no proof that she has them but she's literally a huge liar and manipulator so it's not like she'd admit to it either.

Also she is very malicious. we struggled for months because that check was our income (my mom literally make a lil over $8 and hour) but we were able to be a little better cause of the income tax. But with the income, the whole family goes to this one specific person (literally for the past 10 Yrs) and this year my mom had trouble filing her taxes cause apparently someone claimed my lil sis under their taxes and what a coincidence my aunt did her taxes with someone else this year (our accountant told us). And she will send people texting my sis that it was her fault too about getting molested. She is a very good manipulator and very smart, when I would live with her and did something she didn't like she would turn the family against me.

Anyways I don't really care about the money cause all I care about is my sis being good. But is there anything I can do about getting my legal documents back? Can she use my social security or birth certificate to like buy stuff? I'm literally paranoid cause she is capable of doing that. Any advice?
